Welcome from the Heads of School

Welcome to Whitefield School. We are proud to support a school community of students aged 3-19 years with a broad range of learning, communication, physical, sensory and medical needs.

At Whitefield school our students are at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to foster a community where every individual finds respect, enjoyment in life-long learning and the empowerment to achieve. For us, this means providing a safe, holistic, enjoyable and meaningful education that prepares our students for each stage of their educational journey. We take time to understand how students learn, how they communicate, how they develop their independent skills, how they experience the world around them, helping to prepare them for adulthood. We offer supportive learning environments, curriculum pathways to focus and respond to individual needs, ensuring that we make a positive difference to each student. We celebrate achievement and use every moment as a learning opportunity; each step big or small acts as a milestone for our students.

Working closely with partner agencies and most importantly with our families we secure the best outcomes for our students, believing that relationships are crucial to success in education and life beyond.
