Last Friday, pupils across Whitefield Schools enjoyed an exciting day of activities to celebrate this year's Red Nose Day in support of Comic Relief.

Pupils were encouraged to attend school wearing their favourite red or fancy dress costumes and to make a donation to the charity. One pupil, took inspiration from his favourite book to dress as Harry Potter whilst another, stepped into the role of a ventriloquist for the day accompanied by his very own puppet.

Throughout the course of the day, pupils learnt all about the inspiring work Comic Relief does to support families across the world and took part in a variety of interactive activities. These included educational games, a themed quiz and even a talent show. A standout moment was when pupils across the schools joined together via Zoom for a special Red Nose Day disco.

Thanks to the fantastic fundraising efforts of our pupils, families and staff, we raised a total of £280 for the Comic Relief cause.
