Family Support

Our most important partnership is the one we have with parents and families who we see as an extension of our school community.  

Our Family Support Team works alongside parents and carers helping them to be actively involved in their child’s education.

Located in the Main Reception area, our Family Support Team is always on hand to support families in whichever way is most useful to them.  Whether families need guidance in accessing additional services, advice on making important decisions about their child’s future or just need a listening ear, our expert and professional team will always do their best to help.

Our support can include helping families fill in forms and write letters, accompanying them on visits and to meetings and signposting them to useful services.

We also run a monthly Parents Group in which we facilitate discussions and workshops on a number of relevant topics such as preparing for change and dealing with behaviours.  It is also a good opportunity for parents to talk amongst themselves and share advice and experiences.
